The Sacred Movement’s 21 day 200hr Yoga Teacher Training programs blend traditional yogic teachings and spirituality with earth medicine to provide a holistic, synergistic and applicable approach to living this practice. We view yoga as a spiritual practice, as a path to self-realization, union, contentment, resilience, sovereignty, conscious connection, deepened awareness and mindful living. We understand Yoga extends beyond the time on the mat.  For us Yoga comes alive as we embody our spiritual essence in the world.

Throughout this 21-day immersion process we explore different paths to Union including social justice, environmentalism, and our involvement in the animal rights’ movement, as well as inclusivity, accessibility and equity within the wellness space.

Within the Sacred Movement School, everyone is accepted, supported and encouraged through their individual process, and we emphasize the importance of progress versus perfection along the healing and spiritually evolving path.

 LIFESTYLE IMMERSIVE EXPERIENCE 

This 200hr Yoga Teacher Training program is open to practitioners of all levels and abilities, from beginner to advanced. We offer modifications and variations of the poses so you can cultivate a practice that fits your needs and so that you can teach classes that are accessible to all populations. We encourage you to establish your own personal yoga practice by attending classes or workshops leading up to the program.

Prior to the training, we recommend that students practice along with our online videos several times per weeks to prepare the body and mind for the journey ahead. We will break down these sequences in depth during the course so it is advised to become familiar with them.

We invite you to set an intention, with an open heart and mind, to fully commit to and embrace the yogic lifestyle during your training and beyond, to let go of expectations and to fully surrender to the experience.

This course is not only developed for those who are called to become yoga teachers, but also for those who have intention to deepen their own practice and knowledge, to become embodied yoga practitioners, to step into a spiritual journey of soul and to heal, reveal and awaken.

Without our daily distractions, habits and patterns, a new way of perceiving the world is revealed.

Upon completion of the coursework, peer teaching and evaluation, participants will receive a certification of completion which will then enable you to register with Yoga Alliance as a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-200).

We are beyond excited to offer this in person training to you as a retreat style immersion is in the STUNNING surf town of Rincon, Puerto Rico. Nestled on the edge of crystal clear beaches and lush mountains, we will be completely held by mother nature as we dive deep into the transformative teachings and lifestyle of Yoga, and its sister science - Ayurveda.

Rincón is a surfing and wellness town located on the west coast of Puerto Rico. Known best for its winter swells and infamous sunsets, this small town has won the hearts of people from all corners of the world, including ours.

This 200-hr Yoga Teacher Training is an all inclusive experience beginning on the evening of Saturday, February 5th, and ending after breakfast on February 26th 2022. During your stay we will have chef-prepared decadent Ayurvedic plant based meals for us all to enjoy, all sourced by my dear friends at Finca Plenitud, and your daily schedule will be filled with sunrises meditations, sunsets rituals, in-depth study of Yoga & ayurveda philosophy, breathwork breakthrough sessions, workshops to enhance your practice and life, daily intentions, mediations and sacred rituals, opportunities to practice teaching and professional growth tools, and of course, relaxation and integration time.

Please look into your flights arriving into Aguadilla Airport,(BQN) on the morning or early afternoon of February 5th, and flights departing from the afternoon onward on the 26th. Your transportation to and from the airport and retreat center is included in your immersion price.

Airfares to and from Aguadilla, Puerto Rico is NOT included in your immersion price.

About Harmony Retreat & Animal Wellness Center

Rincon Harmony Center & Animal Wellness is a unique tropical villa sitting on a full acre of private land keeping you secured with onsite private parking and private room codes. This Villa is a beautiful two-story home on Bummer Hill in Puntas, overlooking the crystal clear Caribbean waters, which we have private access to.

Along with the most breathtaking ocean views, the space allows freedom to roam the grounds, interact with horses or just kick back in one of the many hammocks or private nooks in blissful solitude. In addition to daily disinfecting, Rincon Harmony Guesthouse provides all guests/groups with the basic "PPE" i.e.; masks, gloves, antibacterial soap and a disinfectant spray bottle for each room.
